Lykke Li - Wounded Rhymes


Youth Novels, the debut album by Sweden's Lykke Li , was - like it or not - one of the key points of the Scandinavian scene in recent years, leading to (temporary) conclusion with wisdom, courage and balance that line of experimental pop that tries to bring together Scandinavian singer-songwriter introspection, the melodic potential of charts, diagrams traditional and electronic sounds. Get some ritorna a battere duro, sensual and sarcastic at the same time, and when LL sings "Like the shotgun needs an outcome, I'm your prostitute, you gon get some" almost seems to wink to Lady Gaga.
